The BEN FUND – Phased Resumption of Services and Reopening of St Michael’s Lodge

On 8 June 2020, the BEN FUND will commence a phased return to provision of services for members and St Michael’s Lodge will reopen its doors to members.

Safety of Members and Staff

The safety of members and staff is our paramount concern. Over the past few weeks a great deal of work has been going on to ensure that St Michaels Lodge is Covid secure and is a safe place to visit and work.  The full range of measures being put in place is available to view on Covid – 19 Return To Work Plan. These will include:

  • All members/ staff showing symptoms will be requested to stay at home. Everyone entering the building will be subject to temperature screening.
  • A series of robust hygiene and cleaning measures will operate including hand. washing, hand sanitisers, and a regime of cleaning frequently touched surfaces.
  • Safe distancing procedures will apply at all times. To facilitate this a one-way system has been devised and the numbers of people in the building at any one time will be controlled.
  • Where appropriate, personal protective equipment may be worn by clients and/or staff.
Our revised offer to members

A series of virtual exercise programs including Pilates is available on our website, Facebook account, YouTube and Instagram. Our satellite offices at Cheshire, Merseyside and GMP are also open.
