The Ben Fund is here to care for and support officers, both serving and retired, who are experiencing mental, physical or hardship difficulties. None of us know when we may find ourselves in need – a family crisis, a sudden bereavement, an unexpected illness, or a work-related difficulty.

Our Mission Statement

To support the serving officers of Cheshire Constabulary, Cumbria Constabulary, Greater Manchester Police, Lancashire Constabulary, Merseyside Police, North Wales Police and the National Crime Agency, retired officers of those and previous police forces amalgamated within the constituent forces, who are in a condition of need and hardship or distress.

We understand that policing is more than a job – protecting the public is a vocation which, whilst rewarding, presents its own unique set of stresses and strains. The Ben Fund has a comprehensive offer which can be tailored to meet your specific needs. We are an independent and confidential organisation, here to support you through your service and into retirement.
